Carlow Captures Individual Medalist Honors at 2024 Golf Invitational

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Emilee Miller of Carlow captured the women’s individual championship at the 2024 USCAA National Championships, finishing with a total of 162 (81-81), tying with teammate Maci Lorigan, who shot 166 (81-85). Meadow Ciccarella from Johnson & Wales Charlotte rounded out the top three, finishing at 168 (81-87).
Charlotte Blanchard from Southern Maine Community College took fourth place with scores of 86-83 for a total of 169, while Michaela Hawkins from Johnson & Wales Charlotte finished fifth at 172 (87-85). Leah Wright of Kent State Tuscarawas placed sixth with a two-day total of 174 (84-90).
Isabella Wood of Johnson & Wales Charlotte followed in seventh at 176 (90-86), and Sydney Pergerson from Southern Maine Community College finished eighth with a total of 178 (93-85). Ava Grew from Carlow and Emma Hajdasz from Southern Maine Community College tied for ninth, scoring 189 (102-87) and 196 (92-104), respectively. Jena Norman of Carlow took 11th place at 204 (102-102).
In the 2023 USCAA Women’s Golf Championships, Maria Jackson from Johnson & Wales Charlotte claimed the individual title with an impressive three-over-par 75 on the final day, finishing the event at nine-over-par 153. This year, Emilee Miller from Carlow takes over as champion. Not only has she secured the title, but she also continues her academic excellence, having made the All-Academic Team once again. Miller's outstanding performance on the course and commitment to her studies highlight her impressive achievements in both athletics and academics.
